CANCER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
Several years ago, White County Medical Center and the White County Medical Foundation recognized the need for a central location for patients to receive medical care and treatment for cancer. That vision will soon become a reality as construction is underway on the Cancer Center of Excellence at WCMC’s South Campus on South Main Street.
The Cancer Center of Excellence was built through a partnership between White County Medical Center, Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (CARTI), White County Oncology and Radiology Associates, PA (RAPA). Located at 415 Rodgers Dr. in Searcy, the Cancer Center encompasses a chemotherapy treatment center, radiation therapy, the Searcy Breast Center, a Diagnostic Center with PET Scanner, appearance center, chapel, conference/education room and counseling center. Through this venture, these healthcare partners are ensuring residents will have an outstanding facility close to home to receive excellent cancer care.
