October's Business After Hours, hosted by White County Medical Center (WCMC), provided members a chance to be educated on the continued expansion of services, physicans and facilites. WCMC associates gave tours of the hospital's new Cath Lab suite. WCMC has made a substantial capital investment to incorporate the latest in cardiac catherization technology as part of the Heart Institute. With construction underway, two state-of-the-art cath labs will be installed in the coming weeks. The Cath Lab suite will include spacious rooms and a comfortable waiting area for family. "WCMC is committed to the continuous improvement of quality patient care," WCMC President and CEO Ray Montgomery said. "This tremendous expansion will allow us to provide an even higher level of patient care to members of our community through a combination of advanced technology and highly-trained physicians and staff."
