On February 16, 2010 the Searcy Leadership Institute visited the State Capitol and meet with local representative from the area. Members of SLI had a photo opportunity with Governor Mike Beebe and personal visits with Senator John Paul Capps, Representative Monty Betts and Representative Jonathan Dismang. After a lunch sponsored by Chesapeake Energy, the group meet with officials from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, President of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce- Randy Zook, Arkansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Jim Hannah, and Arkansas Supreme Court Associate Justice Jim Gunter.
