___ Stop by the Chamber of Commerce for a city map, phone books and more information on your new home.
___ Contact electric, gas, water, telephone, sanitation department and cable companies to establish service. Phone numbers are located in the helpful numbers section.
___ Visit the Post office located on 600 West Academy to place your new address on file. Notify friends, family, subscription and credit card companies of your new address.
___ Open a bank account at a branch conviently located to your new home or work.
___ Identify a new family physician, dentist and local pharmacy.
___ Locate White County Medical Center at 3214 East Race Street and it’s emergency room located on Hartsfield Drive.
___ Visit the Revenue Department located at 402 West Vine to update your drivers license and your tags if needed. To renew your tags you will need to have the following information:
. Current automobile registeration certificate
. Property tax assessment
. Proof of liability isurance
___ Register to vote. Call the White County Clerks office at (501) 279-6204 or contact Voter Registration at (501) 279-6207 for information.
___ Make sure you are covered! Meet with a local insurance agent, accountant and attorney.
___ Locate a grocery store, dry cleaner and salon or barber shop convenient to you.
___ Locate an automobile service center.
