SUMMARY:Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Arkansas Athletic Trainers' Association is excited to bring the 2019 annual meeting to the campus of Harding University in Searcy\, Arkansas\n\nApril 26-28\, 2019! \n\nRemember\, if you are not an NATA member or you are a career starter your AATA membership dues have not been payed for 2019. AATA membership can be paid during your online registration or mailed in. Also\, check out the 7th Annual High School registration form attached below. If you have any high school students interested in attending the High School Meeting on Friday\, April 26th from 9am- 1pm\, please have them fill out the form and return by MARCH 1st If you have more than 1 student attending\, please send all registration forms together. This is not available for online registration. There is a cap of 120 students. \n\nI encourage you all to get registered for the meeting as quick as possible to help give us a head count!\n\nThe program committee is working to enhance and finalize the program with the hopes of providing more CEUs than years past (pending approval). Final program to be posted by March 1st. \n\nTopics Include:\n\nAppearance and performance-enhancing substances (1.5hr EBP approved)\n\nPrimary prevention of knee osteoarthritis (1.5hr EBP pending approval)\n\nBiological injection in athletes\n\nSafety\, hygiene and infection control in AT facilities\n\nHands on cadaver dissection\n\nAthletic Training professional advocacy\n\nThe GAC is planning a 1 hour CEU and Game Night on Friday night at the Holiday Inn Searcy.
