DESCRIPTION:The Holiday of Lights Christmas Parade is still accepting registration forms for the float contest. All businesses\, organizations\, churches and individuals who want to participate in the parade’s float contest are asked to register through City Hall\, 401 W. Arch Ave.  The parade float contest is sponsored by Unity Health with cash prizes for first\, second and third place. Members of the Unity Health Auxiliary will judge the floats from 4 to 5:30 p.m.  The parade will take place Saturday\, Dec. 5\, at 6 p.m.\, starting at Spring Park and looping around the White County Courthouse before it makes its way onto Race Ave. and ending at Berryhill Park. Participants who have floats in the parade are asked to lineup starting at 4 p.m. at Spring Park\, 113 E. Pleasure Ave.   All floats are required to have lights and play Christmas music to be involved in the parade.   Download the registration form here and return it to City Hall in person\, by email to lcook@cityofsearcy.org\, or by fax to (501) 268-2104. To participate without being part of the contest\, line up at Spring Park starting at 4 p.m.\, no registration is required.
