The Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce would like to say THANK YOU to area Manufacturing Companies for the positive economic impact you have in our community! \n\n\n\nThis local industry leaves a large economic footprint! Manufacturing in Searcy employs approximately 10% of the workforce providing jobs\, benefits\, and financial stability to thousands of individuals and families in the White County area and beyond. The Searcy area has approximately 25 Manufacturing and Distribution facilities that employ more than 3\,200 individuals. In White County during the 1st Quarter of 2020\, there were 61 Manufacturing facilities that paid $26\,006\,158 in total wages. Details here.\n\n\n\nToday's manufactures strive to provide a safe\, clean\, high-tech environment for employees and offer benefits such as paid vacation\, health insurance\, 401K\, education reimbursement\, and opportunities for advancement. Manufacturing companies often only require a high-school diploma or GED for entry-level positions.\n\n\n\nLocal employees in manufacturing facilities can feel good about making products that people and businesses need every day. Whether it's food for the dinner table\, goods to stock shelves\, or equipment for businesses\, products made locally are shipped throughout the U.S. and around the world.
