DESCRIPTION:Unity Health Harris Medical Center and the AARP are joining forces to bring you a Driver Safety Course. \n\nWHERE:\n\nJackson County Senior Center at 400 North Pecan Street\n\nDATE:\n\nMonday\, April 22nd\n\nTIME:\n\n9 am to 1:30 pm\n\nWHO:\n\nDrivers age 50 and over\n\nCOST:\n\n$15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members\n\nFor more information\, contact Nannette Cooper at 870.217.0456 or Margaret Goodman at 870.512.3030\n\nCourse will address the following safety needs:\n\n	Vision\, hearing\n\n	and reaction time changes\n	How medications\n\n	may affect driving\n	What to do if\n\n	confronted by an aggressive driver\n	When to use the\n\n	cell phone \n	How to handle\n\n	blind spots and heavy traffic\n	Air bags and\n\n	seat belt safety\n\n \n\n*All who complete the full course will receive a certificate to request a discount with their insurance company. Participants will need to bring their driver's license and AARP card if a member to the class.
