Women for Harding will host A Girls Day Out in conjunction with its national board meeting on Friday, April 5. In addition to a Pop-Up Shop in the student center highlighting unique local vendors, lunch will feature Women for Harding Scholars and a festive atmosphere. The afternoon event includes keynote speaker and Harding alumna Jo Ellis, owner of Make.Do. Friday, April 5 Harding University David B. Do.'s most popular class, hand embroidery. This craft is great for everyone from beginners to seasoned "embroiderers." We will learn basic embroidery stitches to complete this joy-inspired hoop. Everything you need to finish the project is included: embroidery hoop, fabric, needle, and thread. Proceeds of this event fund need based scholarships through Women for Harding.
