    About Us

    The Searcy School District is committed to providing students with a quality education. Approximately 4,000 students are served on six campuses across the city.

    The three elementary schools which consist of McRae Elementary, Sidney Deener Elementary, and Westside Elementary house students in grades K-3, Southwest Middle School is made up of grades 4-6, Ahlf Junior High School educates students in grades 7 and 8, and Searcy High School is comprised of students in grades 9-12. Students across the district have access to the finest technology in their classrooms and/or buildings.

    The district offers a challenging educational learning climate through high quality curricula including gifted and talented programs, special education, advanced placement courses, concurrent college credit courses, and technology-based programs. Additionally, Searcy School District provides social-emotional learning programs such as ''Capturing Kids Hearts.''

    A fully accredited district by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and AdvanceED, Searcy Public School District has been recognized a number of times. Most recently the was identified for its high academic achievement by the Arkansas Rewards and Recognition Program and the Office of Educational Policy Awards Program.
