Unity Health Names Jamie Higgins, APR, as Executive Director of the Unity Health Foundation
 

SEARCY, AR – Unity Health is proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Higgins, APR, as executive director of the Unity Health Foundation. Higgins brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership and philanthropy, having served with organizations such as The Centers for Youth and Families, Community Service, Inc., Pulaski Technical College and the Arkansas Foodbank Network.

A native of Heber Springs, Ark., Higgins graduated from Heber Springs High School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Harding University in 2005.

“It’s good to be back home,” said Higgins. “It is such an honor to serve alongside the talented and compassionate healthcare professionals at Unity Health.”

In his new role, Higgins will oversee all philanthropic efforts for the Unity Health system, which includes hospital locations in Searcy, Newport and Jacksonville. His leadership will guide fundraising strategies, donor engagement and community outreach to support the health system’s mission and priorities.

In addition to his professional experience, Higgins is an active Rotarian and has served in numerous leadership positions at the club, district, zone, and international levels. He served as Rotary District Governor in 2020–21, currently serves as Rotary Zone 31 Public Image Coordinator and is a Rotary International learning facilitator.
